The bigger crisis that needs to be addressed at these Chinese virus task force briefings is the economic crisis.. Fauci and scarf lady have told us more than we need to know.

Every model has been wrong with the death rate.. Chinese virus will end up comparable with the annual flu death rate. I don't think we're needing anymore updates with models , ventilators , masks , testing , or hospital beds. We've heard enough.

The bigger crisis , is the ramifications with the economic shutdown associated with the hysteria with an overreaction hyped virus.

The narrative with the task force needs to drastically switch over to getting the country back to working before we slide into a depression..

The economic crisis is what we really need to focus on. . At the moment , we're addressing the wrong crisis.

Was this “hell week?”

Fauci better find his nest fast. Along with the clowns from the England projection and the clowns from the Washington study.

No wonder Chi-na didn’t make a big deal about it

Fauci and scarf lady are deep state Clinton hacks.

We've gone from 40 Million... to 2 Million... to 200,000... to 81,766... to now 60,415 deaths.

These models are a joke. They are literally making it up as they go along.

80k Americans die during a bad flu season.

End this charade and open the economy.

Would anyone here admit that they think the health crisis is the bigger crisis of the two ? If yes , what's your reasoning ?

I agree with almost all of what you say except for NYC.

"It is in fact more likely that the coronavirus death toll is much higher than the official figures suggest, rather than it being inflated. The CDC has acknowledged its count is an “underestimation” because it only tallies cases where Covid-19 has been confirmed in a laboratory test.

Epidemiologists say a widespread lack of initial testing in the US means many people died without being counted, while even now some people who die at home or in nursing homes are not being tested for the virus.

In New York City, more than 200 people are dying at home each day during the pandemic, according to city officials, a very much higher rate than usual. Bill de Blasio, New York City’s mayor, has estimated that about 100 to 200 people a day who die at home in the city are not being included in the official virus death count. But the federal government insists the overall figures are largely accurate.

Even last month Trump was saying the USA death total could be as low as 20K.

the models' projections change due to the public's changing behavior and
the increased amount of data as time goes on. think of it this way,
is it easier to predict who is likely to win a football game outright
at the beginning of the season or at the end of the season?
Many of the nation's governors did a good job of enacting restrictions to
minimize virus's transmission early in the cycle and that affected and
reduced the severity of the virus. hopefully the models are much
more accurate now, but if things change then the models, although
lagging, will change too.

From TCG thread.....

These so called models seldom if ever are right. I pointed this out to the group and used the most recent example of Ebola (and it's very easy to find a myriad of sources that are highly critical of these people that do these models). At some point, most rational thinking people get tired of the Boy that cried Wolf and judge these things with a skeptical eye (partisan people just treat everything like it's a religion and believe whatever the media tells them is right).

And now the goalpost has been moved so often that the only way the doomsayers can save face is to claim that the reduction is only because social distancing was put in place. And I'm happy to call Bullshit on that. We were never going to have that many deaths, and we sure as hell didn't prevent them from only 3 weeks of staying close to home. Some of my favorite takes from the article are..

"the drop in cases seen in various states has come before lockdowns would have had an impact -- since it takes a few weeks for social distancing measures to take effect due to the window between infection and symptoms"

"
“Aside from New York, nationally there’s been no health system crisis. In fact, to be truly correct there has been a health system crisis, but the crisis is that the hospitals are empty,”

"Berenson argues that those models have social distancing and other measures baked into them"

Best thread Ive seen on here about all this horse shit going on.

Something the average Sheep does not pay attention to is the
following pattern or trend I have noticed with this. Every asshole
calling for an extra 2 months, 6 months, and even 18 months, is in
a spot in life where that does not affect them for example like a
Fauci, Birx, Gates, politicians, celebrities, pro athletes, Etc.

Literally if it was 1 person dead some of these folks would be calling for lockdowns and shutdowns..the numbers don't even matter, facts don't matter..the train went off the rails weeks ago.

Holy cow ! Lol

Something else that has not been talked about... the social distancing is also lowering the amount of normal flu cases and deaths. Or are they being counted in with the coronavirus?”

And just think about all the people dying that were dying already and asymptomatic for COVID so health officials counted their death as a COVID death. Got in a car accident but had COVID? COVID death. Had a brain tumor and in hospice but got COVID? COVID death.

The response to this has been something else.

Huh? You first claim I don't live in NJ but then go on to try and meet me in a parking lot? Odd to say the least guy.

Let me ask you this. When you walk into Fanduel at MetLife, are the escalators immediately to your right and behind the escalators is the sports desk for the live television show and behind the desk is the area for the horse bettors?
